13 Resume Checklist to Make Your Brazil Job CV “PERFECT”

Every job seeker wants to get an interview call, it is possible when your resume is perfect. I know you will say perfect isn't a possibility in this world. But indeed it's possible to make your resume perfect.  Do you wanna know how? Well, I'm sharing a 15 resume checklist. Once you are done with your Brazil resume writing, it's suggested to review it by exploring this checklist. Are you ready to make your Brazil CV "PERFECT"? Let's get started.

1.Check the Length - Is it one page or multiple pages? If it's one page, you are okay to go ahead with other points. When the length extends two pages, please stick to this point. Your Brazil CV should not be more than two pages. One-page is good enough as the employer has only thirty-one seconds to check it all. Do you think he would explore tons of other pages in resume only for you? Of course not, so please shrink your Brazil job resume quickly.

2.Check the Originality - I know many of us create a resume by using a template but it doesn't mean we can't add our personal factors in it. In simple words, your resume shouldn't look like a mere copy paste or a standard version. It must have its own personality. Put a bit of effort in the template, please.

3.Check the Clarity - Your Brazil job resume should look as clear as possible. Here, I'm talking about white spaces, margin, complete formatting, and sections. It must have all the required sections. Word written with proper format and spacing. Does it look like a mess? Or a clutter or words? Please change this.

4.Examine the Professional Touch- You are applying for a professional job and this professionalism should be apparent in your resume. A simple CV with no professional angle is a waste of time. It means using professional language and tone in your resume. Keeping it all simple and casual won't be helpful at all. Your resume must be visually-appealing and presentable.

5. Explore Design Elements - Many job seekers make mistakes. They make their resume super stylish by adding unique design and trying new fonts. It works only in the creative and graphic design industry. In other industries, you need to stick with professional fonts or industry-recognizable fonts such as Georgia, Times New Romans, Calibri, etc. You don't need too many fancy elements. I guess bullets and numbering are two good design elements since they highlight your job positions and experience clearly. What do you think?

6.Check Sections - Every resume has more than five sections. You need to review every section of your resume. It's important that every section has a good highlight and prominence, if it doesn't then it will look as a part of another section. It will create confusion, which you never want in your Brazil CV.

7.Check Work History Order - It is the most important thing to note in your resume. Some people mention the oldest experience first, you don't have to do that. Keep it all in reverse chronological order. It means putting the latest job first.

8.Get a Second Review- You might be certain about your review skills but you need to ask a professional for a second review. Why is that? Sometimes, you overlook important details while an expert points it out quickly.

9.Check Career Goal - You need to target your resume for specific career goals. It should direct to a single career so that it remains clear to employers what exactly you want. Without a single direction, it all becomes blurry and confusing. In case it's your career change resume, make sure that you have added supporting details that make this change relevant for your current job.

10.Review Accomplishments - You need to add a few accomplishments in your resume. It's vital to add some numbers, dollar amounts, percentages, etc so that employers can measure your success easily. Also, it's good to use very strong verbs to emphasize on your accomplishments.

11.Check Relevancy - Your resume must be relevant to job ads.  If you have added some irrelevant job details such as awards, accomplishments, or personal information, it's time to omit them. Make some space for relevant resume details like skill that matters for the job, volunteer job experience and other aspects.

12.Check Typo and Style - Your resume writing style should be impressive and tells your professional life story. It's important that your writing flow is engaging, informative and understandable for employers. Double check your resume to omit syntax error, spelling, grammar and typos.

13. Check Summary - Your professional summary should be engaging and interesting. It helps employers explore your work history in three lines. You need to make it as impressive as possible, so the recruiter continues reading the rest of the sections in your Brazilian job resume.
